Tattoo ideas?

I've been looking at getting a tattoo for a while now, but I'm stuck for design choice.
As I can be quite indecisive, I don't want to regret it in a few years and therefore, I'm holding back on getting one (or a few) for a little while!

But, I have still being looking at designs online...
And, of course, my source is Pintrest!

So, I just thought I'd share a collection of some of the designs I, personally, love

I understand that some of these are 'cliché' or sometimes labelled at 'hipster', but honestly, who cares?
The decision to get a tattoo of any design is a personal choice, you are choosing to get a specific design etched onto your body forever and if that's what you want then who's to stop you?

Childhood Favourites

Like many girls growing up during the late 90's and early 00's, I was obsessed with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

I read their books, I watched all of their movies, I watched every television programme of theirs - I practically wanted to be them!

To this day, one of my all time favourite films is It Takes Two starring Mary-Kate and Ashley.
Though this is only partly because of their acting, I just love everything about the film still!

Lily Collins wearing Elie Saab

I'd like to use my picture of the week to admire this gorgeous dress.

Lily Collins wearing Elie Saab at the 'Love, Rosie' Rome Premier

I'm not exactly sure why this dress in particular, over the thousands of others, caught the attention of the internet recently...
But, what I can take from the picture is that this dress is absolutely stunning.
And, it suits Lily Collins perfectly.

Picture of the Week

My last 'Picture of the Week' was on 25th August 2014.

I know, I know.. I'm awful at keeping with these kinds of things and my blogging has fallen short recently. But, I am determined to get back into it. Beginning with general posts once a week and a picture of the week!

So, here we go...

P A R A D I S E

After watching the Kardashian's visit Bora Bora, I couldn't help but wish to visit this beautiful island

It just seems so peaceful and tranquil.
The water looks really fresh and pure, the shack looks incredible and it's so secluded.
It'd be the perfect relaxing get away, if it wasn't so expensive or so far away!

My future wedding dress!

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have a slight obsession with weddings!

Two years ago I stumbled across the Disney Wedding dress collection and, as I curious female, I decided to take a peek at them.

Upon browsing through the selections, one particular dress caught my eye and I couldn't help but fall in love... With a dress - yes, I'm that kind of girl!

This is Cinderella from the 2011 collection.

Honestly, from the moment I saw it, I knew I wanted that one.
It's perfect.
The lack of precise detail speaks volumes.
I particularly love the wrap effect.

Unfortunately, being a teenager means that I have a long time to wait before my special day. But, I cannot wait.
I hope that this dress is still available when the time comes because it's so me!

Tattoo?

This picture is so pretty.

The detail is stunning.

It's so precise.

I love it.

And, I would actually consider something along these lines, regarding the design and pattern, as a tattoo.

NYC!

In February of this year I was fortunate enough to visit New York City!!

It was something that I had dreamed about for years, as cliché as it sounds.

Whilst freezing in the streets of New York, I made my mum walk many blocks, despite her plea to catch a taxi, so that we could visit the Empire State Building.

After walking around all day as we shopped I think my mum and I were both pretty exhausted, but it was the Empire State Building...
You can't miss an opportunity as great as that!

One of my favourite pictures that I took was this one:

It's beautiful.

Every time I see it I can't help but wish I was back in New York!

The weather was bitter cold, to point where I thought I was going to turn purple at some points, but that did not deter me from viewing these stunning scenes.

I somehow managed to get all around the observatory on the Empire State building, however my mum gave up after two minutes of standing outside as it was that cold!

The scenes are immaculate.

Whatever the weather, it's totally worth paying a trip to this wonderful building.

I recommend it 100%!

Creativity?

Personally, I'm really into interior designing.
But, I don't think I could do it as a career, it's more of a hobby.
And honestly, I can't wait to get my own home one day so I can interior design that!

Now, I know money isn't everything.
However, like many, I would LOVE a huge home.
But not for all of the wrong reasons, I'd want to be able to buy a big house with my hard earned money.
I wouldn't want this home to brag or show off to everyone, but for my own personal benefit.
At the beginning, I would want it purely to interior decorate my personal home from scratch.
Living in a house, knowing that you put time and effort into making it what it is, is something I aspire to achieve.
Obviously, with a bigger house there's more room to experiment and be more creative with individual room designs.
However, you could do exactly the same in a small house.

My picture this week is of a beautiful (what looks like) entrance of a house, which leads to the staircases and an individual hallway down the middle.

Clearly, this house is massive.
All the while, it is stunning.

And, I love everything about this picture.

I love the black and white theme.
The grand piano in the middle.
The separate staircases curving at the top.
The elegant design in the banister.
The arc way into the dinning room (I think).

It's modern and stylish yet precise and delicate.

Now, I always say I'm not very creative, but I think I have a random pinch of creativity inside of me.
I'm creative with certain things.
I'm definitely not creative in an artistic way (painting and drawing and that), but I am in this sense.
I like changing things up and making it out to be something I want at the time.
(If that makes any sense at all!)

Also, I get quite bored of what I already have so I like rearrange every now and again.
For example, I have just recently cleared out and tidied my bedroom.
I rearranged most of the furniture and added simple things, like some fairy lights around my telly, in order to change it up.
It looks totally different, but I haven't had to spend any money.
I just used my time, effort and motivation to create something new.

La la la

This week my pictures (of the week) are a bit different.

This week my picture is...

Someone I aspire to be like - not for her musical or acting abilities necessarily, but for her approach to life.
Her desire to help people and make a change in this world.

My idol - Demi Lovato

I find that Demi's attitude towards revealing her story and attempting to make a change in order to saves peoples lives receives mixed opinions from the public.

Some believe she is doing good, some see it as attention seeking.
Everybody is entitled to their own opinions and I respect that.

Personally, I believe that Demi has been through a hell of a lot from a young age and is using her experiences to help those in need and create awareness for mental illnesses that people commonly miss or choose to ignore.

Demi has a lot of influence among teenage girls, especially her fans, and so if she can use this to make a difference then why the hell not?

I'm not going to lie, I have loved Demi Lovato ever since she made her big break in Camp Rock on Disney Channel.
From then on, followed her career in television and music.

Demi has a unique and amazing voice, which she uses to produce record selling music.
I love her albums and I think she tells a lot through her music - like many artists.

I think she's a beautiful and strong young woman with huge potential, a mass of success already in her pocket and the ability to succeed further in the future.

I could never justify fully why Demi Lovato is my inspiration.
She just is.

Below I have included two of my favourite songs by Demi Lovato.
These two are slow songs, compared to some of her music, however they both have stories to tell.

Warrior

If this does not work, click here.

Skyscraper

If this does not work, click here.

Demi Lovato is an inspiration to many.
She has helped hundreds and has contributed to saving lives just by sharing her story.

And for all of her determination, personal recovery, success and hard work;
Demi Lovato is my idol.

I would love to hear who your idols are?
Let me know in the comments below :)

Wedding Roses!

I have a slight love for weddings.

After watching programmes such as Four Weddings and Don't Tell The Bride, I can't help but love everything about them. It's such a special day for the bride, groom and their families and it's wonderful to watch everyone enjoying a very anticipated day in a persons life.

I love seeing different ideas blossom into something special.
I love seeing the different sceneries and settings in which the weddings are held.
I love seeing what kind of wedding dress the bride picks out.
I love seeing the theme and colour schemes pan out into a beautiful wedding day.
I love seeing the cute personal touches the bride and groom add to their wedding.
I love seeing all of these things.
But most importantly, I love collecting ideas for the future!
My pictures this week aren't specifically wedding roses, however they are flowers that, personally, I would love at my wedding!

I think these white roses are absolutely stunning and I definitely want my bouquet to be full of these.

These red roses are just as beautiful.

After thinking about it, a bouquet of white roses with a few red roses sounds very appealing to me!

I don't know whether it's just me who thinks about my future wedding day, but I find its something that I love to do.

Cuteness Overload

Cat lover or dog lover?
You're either one or the other.
That's just how it works.

For me, I'm a cat lover.

Since being born, I have always had a cat (bar a couple of years).

Out of all of my family, everyone has a cat, except the family that don't have any pets so that's not everybody then! Haha.
I don't know why, but cats just seem to be apart of our lives, whereas dogs have never really have been.
I have many friends with dogs, they're cute and so fun to play with but I've never been too fussed about actually having a dog myself.

My favourite kind of cats are black cats. Some people associate them with witches, however they are completely adorable. They're so cute and most are super playful. Out of the three cats I've ever had, they've all been black.

You may be wondering if there's a reason for me blabbing on about cats, well here's why...

This cat is adorable.

This kitten is just the cutest little thing.

And this kitten is even more adorable.
I love the artsy scene in this picture too.

They're just so cute.
None of these cats are mine, however I stumbled across these pictures on We Heart It and I had to keep them!

Like I said before, I was going to pick out a picture (or three) to show you weekly. As last week didn't quite go to plan, due to last minute revision, I never got to post any pictures, but I am now!

If you don't think these pictures are cute, I think you're crazy.
(You're not really!)

Pretty Picture

This picture is beautiful, the scenery is stunning and the pink flowers give this picture a real spring feel - perfect for this time of year.

I love pictures like this - it's sheer beauty is fascinating.

Photography is such an interesting topic and I really wish I had to motivation to take creative photos like this one. There are always things to snap up, but carrying around a camera all day and taking the time to perfect a shot is not something that appeals to me. I can be quite impatient at times and I don't do well with people watching me. Although I do own a pretty decent camera, it barely leaves my room as I'm so bad with things like that. I respect all photographers - that's their hobby and their passion. But, for me, I like to live in the moment. I much prefer to enjoy my experiences as they happen and remember the good times.
But, don't get me wrong, if I have my camera at hand I won't shy away from taking any pictures.

I found this particular picture online, on a website called We Heart It. On this website you can create an account and 'heart' pictures. You can create sets and add pictures to your sets. I find this website pretty cool. Some of the pictures posted are beautiful and imaginative. As well as hearting pictures, you can also share pictures yourself.

I might start picking a picture, to post every week, that has stood out to me throughout that week - whether it's one I've personally taken, one somebody has sent me or one I've seen whilst online.
